We are pleased to announce that Local 30 negotiations were completed September 9th. After meeting for ten (10) days, both parties were able to discuss various issues and reach consensus and actively support agreements made.
As a result of negotiations, a series of meetings will occur separately for both labor and management to review and discuss agreements made both nationally and locally.
Meetings for Management members will be scheduled in October and will include a forum to review and discuss agreements made both nationally and locally. Human Resources will be sending our information for these meetings in the near future.
Local 30 will be hosting ratification meetings for their members at various scheduled times so employees may be able to attend before or after their workday. These meetings, held throughout San Diego County, are made available for the bargaining group members to review and discuss the agreements made both nationally and locally. After the review, the members will vote on the agreement via a ratification process.
The ratification meetings will be held in September as ratification is scheduled to take place before the term of the current contract expires (October 1st). Should employees have any questions about the ratification process, they are encouraged to contact Local 30 directly. The ratification meetings, for Local 30 members only, are scheduled as follows:
