Our Mission Statement

Unofficially OPEIU 30 is affiliated with UnionGuide. The primary objective of UnionGuide is to provide factual information of interest about labor organizations for both members and non-members of labor organizations. In the effort to provide this service, it is the intent of UnionGuide to also provide an open, honest medium which will facilitate and encourage the free expression of ideas and opinions between all union interested people.
UnionGuide is supportive of all labor organizations, regardless of any particular union's affiliation (or non-affiliation) with any other labor organization (i.e. a Labor Union's decision to affiliate with or not to affiliate with the AFL-CIO and/or Change To Win Coalition is of no consequence to UnionGuide and is not basis for discrimination).
The primary objectives of Unofficially OPEIU 30 are aligned with these same principles and is also intended to be a relevent source for information of interest for members of the Office and Professional Employee's International Union, Local 30 as well as all union interested people. UnionGuide and Unofficially OPEIU 30 are in no way affiliated with the American Federation of Labor-Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO), Change to Win Coalition (CTW), Office and Professional Employee's International Union (OPEIU) and/or any other labor organization and/or group.

OPEIU Local 30 Mission Statement
|
The mission of OPEIU Local 30 is to always provide the best service possible to our members. Union members in general, and Local 30 members in particular are entitled to, and deserve the very best from their Union. To this end the Officers and staff of this Union pledge to support and defend the rights and benefits of the members at all times. Our members will receive prompt attention to their needs and proper follow through on their issues. Our members will always be treated with respect and dignity, and will receive professional representation at the highest level at all times.
The goals of this local union shall include a commitment to growth through organizing, support for the labor community at large, and full participation in the labor community in southern California. In addition, Local 30 will support and participate to the fullest in the Office & Professional Employees International Union, and the AFL-CIO. We pledge to work in concert with our sister OPEIU local in southern California, and to provide needed assistance at all times.
Finally, the members of OPEIU, Local 30 shall also commit to be strong supporters of the labor movement, and faithful participants in their Unions.
