OPEIU, Local 30 Elections

During the July 21st (Arizona), July 23rd (Los Angeles), & July 24th (San Diego) Membership Meetings, nominations were made.
As provided during previous elections, this site extends an offer regarding utilizing space on this site, for all interested candidates.

Update: Members who have not received their official voting ballots (or Members who have discarded their ballots) should contact the Union office immediately so that they may be sent new ballots. Marked ballots must be received, in the mail, to the Union office, by 10:00am on August 29th.

    MaryEllen is [supposedly] intending to schedule a meeting at some point in order to hear and address HealthConnect concerns, however, Ms. Farrell has not returned phone calls in regards to this or other issues for many months. Walter Gets a Raise: Walter Allen is the elected Executive Director of OPEIU, Local 30. In 2006, Walter received a 6% wage increase totaling a new Gross Salary of $135,227 (up from $127,688 in 2005) paid by OPEIU Local 30 Members and an additional $4,145 from OPEIU.
(3,773 Member, OPEIU, Local 29's Secretary Treasurer/ Business Representative earned $69,878 in 2006)
